Frequently asked questions
Who owns the recordings once the course is delivered?
Write it into the quotation: whether the finished videos and the source files pass to the client, and which parts, such as licensed music or your own templates, stay under their existing license. Settling it now avoids a dispute when the client wants to reuse the material.
How do I handle re-recording when the content changes?
Agree a number of revision rounds per lesson and a rate for re-recording beyond them. Changes to content after recording are a common cause of overruns in course production, so the rate belongs in the quotation rather than in a later argument.
Should learning platform fees be included?
Platform subscriptions are usually paid by the client directly; say so. If you pay them on the client’s behalf, add them as a separate line at cost, so your production fee stays comparable with other producers.
How is the sales tax worked out on this quotation?

How do I turn an approved quotation into an invoice?
Open the approved quotation and convert it. The original stays unchanged, and the invoice carries the same line items so the customer can match the two documents.
