Frequently asked questions
Two systems show different sales figures. Is fixing that part of the quotation?
Deciding which figure is right is the client's call, made in the workshop. Cleaning the source data itself is separate work; quote it on its own line if the client wants you to do it.
Should the dashboard tool's licences be on my quotation?
Usually the client licenses the tool for its own users. Name the licences needed in the notes; if you resell them, list them separately with the term and the number of viewers.
How is the sales tax worked out on this quotation?
The worked example above uses an example rate of 8%: $544.00 on a net amount of $6,800.00, for a total of $7,344.00. The editor recalculates all three when you change a quantity, a price or the country.
How do I turn an approved quotation into an invoice?
Open the approved quotation and convert it. The original stays unchanged, and the invoice carries the same line items so the customer can match the two documents.
